DiMichaelangelo Family Dentistry in Nebraska seeks an Associate Dentist to diagnose and treat a range of dental issues, perform routine check-ups and cleanings, and educate patients on oral health in a friendly, professional environment.

You will utilize X-rays and imaging, provide treatments from fillings to crowns and veneers, administer local anesthesia, ensure infection control, and contribute to a patient care focused foundation while collaborating with a top-tier team.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• State licensure to practice dentistry.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Proficient in restorative, cosmetic, and surgical dental procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of dental office systems and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
• Utilize X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations.
• Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed.
• Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
• Perform oral cancer screenings.
• Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
• Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
• Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to a dynamic team of professionals.
• Other duties as assigned.
