Job summary

Perspective Optometry is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join a growing practice in La Quinta, CA. The role involves routine eye examinations, refractions, ocular testing and limited medical eye care within licensure.

You will offer patient recommendations and refer cases to ophthalmology as needed, contributing to an organized, modern team. Candidates should have CA licensure (OD TLG/TPA) and a strong drive for patient-focused care, with interest in vision therapy and specialty contact

Qualifications

• OD TLG and TPA license in California is required.
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in vision therapy and specialty contact lenses.
• Experience with electronic health records systems.
• Proficiency with Mac and Windows operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine eye examinations and refractions with limited medical care.
• Provide patient recommendations and refer to ophthalmology when needed.
• Support a modern, patient-centered practice environment and collaborate with staff.
