The Center for Vision Development in Austin, TX is seeking an Associate Optometrist with a focus on vision therapy. This training-focused role welcomes graduates and experienced ODs to begin with immersive training in our vision therapy program while delivering full-scope optometry care.

You will perform vision therapy evaluations, primary care, and myopia management, while collaborating with vision therapists to guide patient outcomes and ensure consistency of care.

Qualifications

• OD degree or graduating 4th year student
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Texas
• Interest in vision therapy and patient care

Responsibilities

• Begin immersive training in vision therapy while providing full-scope optometry care
• Conduct vision therapy evaluations and progress evaluations
• Collaborate with vision therapists to guide patient outcomes and ensure consistency of care
• Provide primary care and myopia management as part of comprehensive care
• Build relationships with patients of all ages to support long-term vision health
• Communicate clearly to educate patients and families about care plans
• Engage in ongoing learning within a vision-therapy focused practice
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered team environment
