Sanford Health is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to assist customers in selecting eyewear, order and dispense eyewear, and perform basic repairs and adjustments. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and teamwork.

Typical hours are 7:30am–4:30pm with rotating shifts and weekends off. Training will cover eyewear fitting, contact lens care, and retail patient service skills to support a comprehensive benefits package and career growth within Sanford Health.

Qualificações

• High school graduate preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills.
• Knowledge of contact lens procedures and eyewear fitting.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) preferred.

Job Description

Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with the selection of eye wear. Must train to acquire or already competently command entry level optical and retail patient service skills necessary to order, dispense, and execute basic repairs and adjustments of eyeglasses and contact lenses.

Qualifications

High school graduate is preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal/human relations and sales skills. Knowledge of contact lens procedures and care, current brands and solutions and knowledge of eye wear fitting, styles, and materials is preferred. Previous experience in optical or contact lens field is preferred. Will provide training and education of required skills.

Basic Life Support Certification.
