Job summary

DSM‑Firmenich in New Ulm, MN on-site seeks an Associate Operator, Blending Split. You will handle equipment prep, cleaning, and quality checks while supporting packaging and HACCP compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years of packing/compounding experience, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 lb, and willingness to work in a facility with variable temperatures.

Qualifications

Associate Operator, Blending Split

New Ulm, MN – Onsite

Join our team as a Split Operator at DSM‑Firmenich. You will work with the best ingredients on the planet, contributing to the creation of over 900 flavors and scents.

Key Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed during wash‑ups and reassembly.
• Clean and sanitize rooms as required. Titrate chemicals as necessary.
• Participate in washing functions during wash times across all areas.
• Accurately package product, perform quality control checks, HACCP checks, and sampling requirements.
• Move full pallets using the pallet jack and perform all duties related to packing powder into bags/super sacs.
• Perform all quality control and safety duties.

Candidate Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; prior experience handling chemicals.
• 1–3 years of packing/compounding experience and understanding of special formula instructions.
• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP.
• Forklift experience and capacity to stand for up to 90% of the day.
• Ability to lift a 35lb product hose and move, lift, pull, or push up to 50lb.
• Ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control and exposure to outside temperatures.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $24.04–$25.04 per hour. Additional benefits include annual incentive pay, retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs, and a comprehensive total rewards package. Eligibility requirements apply.
