GGP is seeking an Associate Operations Manager to support the Sr. Operations Manager in operating, maintaining, and preserving a shopping-center property in Glendale, CA.

The role prepares the candidate to advance to an Operations Manager position at another property within 9–24 months. The position involves multi-yearCapex/opex planning, safety compliance, sustainability initiatives, and coordination with corporate departments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property, facilities, or construction management.
• Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of commercial building systems, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Effective writing and communication skills, ability to supervise and train teams.
• Experience with building management software such as Yardi and JDEdwards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a well-maintained property delivering a positive guest experience.
• Oversee all physical assets to maintain standards cost-effectively.
• Prepare and manage multi-year capital and operating plans and projects.
• Regulate contractor compliance with rules, lease requirements, and timely completion.
• Ensure safety systems are code compliant and reports are maintained.
• Support safety, health, and environment programs and sustainability efforts.
• Monitor utility consumption and building control technologies.
• Develop direct reports and collaborate with corporate departments to meet objectives.
• Review invoices for accuracy and timely payment.
