Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist team to manage quarterly and monthly financial processes and timelines.

  • Prepare reports and updates by analyzing compliance information.
  • Participate in Tax & Audit Steering Group and tax/audit season processes.
  • Work with Tax and IT to revise tax/financial systems.
  • Develop year-end calendar and refine tax/audit procedures.
  • Train and assist in managing tax temporary staff.
  • Organize periodic investor communications and letters.
  • Assist in data processing, client information, and special projects.
  • Develop and implement enhancements to IMRT systems and policies.

Purpose and Job Summary

The Investment Management Resource Team is seeking qualified candidates for an operations open position. Responsible for managing the majority of the processes related to the asset management of our portfolio. IMRT members work across various departments, proactively manage the calendar and implement system and procedural enhancements to assist in individual, team and company goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and assist team to manage the Quarterly & Monthly Financial Processes and timeline (calendar, collection, review and organization of the Quarterly and Monthly Financial Information.).
  • Coordinate and assist team in managing the lower Tier compliance processes including collection & tracking of Tenant files, Annual Owners Process (AOC), State File & Physical Inspection.
  • Collaborate with the Team to collect, review, follow-up and track various property compliance documents.
  • Prepare reports and updates for the Team and Asset Management by analyzing and summarizing Compliance information.
  • Participate in the Tax & Audit Steering Group (TSSG) and assisting the team in managing the preparation and implementation of Tax & Audit Season processes, system enhancements and delivery schedule.
  • Work with the Tax Team and the IT Team to develop the specs for revising/enhancing our tax system, financial system and web portal – IMRT revises and/or enhances our Tax & Financial systems on an annual basis.
  • Further, work with the team to develop the year-end calendar and to refine or enhance the annual procedures for both Tax and Audit Season.
  • Train and assist in managing the tax temporary employees and other temporary help as needed.
  • Organize periodic mailings to accountants, general partners and management companies, which include, Monthly & Quarterly collection letters, compliance monthly and bi-annual letters, investor letters and annual tax and audit collection letters.
  • Assists in the collection, processing and analyzing of client information, Investor mailings, invoice processing and numerous Special projects, as needed.
  • Develop, enhance, and implement the various systems used by the IM-Resource Team. Maintains integrity and quality service by implementing Team and Business policies and procedures and revising as necessary to improve processes or meet new needs.
Education, Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
  • 1 year experience or less.
  • Quality Focus and Professionalism.
  • Strong organizational Skills and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong Computer Skills, specifically with MS Office.
  • Ability to work in fast‑paced work environment while managing conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to take initiative in identifying and resolving inefficiencies and issues.
Annual Base Salary Gross

$80,000 - $90,000 (MA only).

The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX’s total compensation package for employees.
