Oscar is seeking a healthcare contracting professional to manage contracts with key providers, focusing on optimizing costs and ensuring access to quality care. This role requires a hybrid work schedule based in New York City, with specific in-office requirements.
The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in healthcare client management and contract negotiation. Benefits include medical coverage, paid time off, and annual performance bonuses.
You will be responsible for managing contracts with key healthcare providers in Oscar's network (hospital/health systems and large national ancillary groups) to build and maintain a robust network while also ensuring access to quality care and optimizing costs by analyzing provider performance and negotiating reimbursement rates, often involving complex contract terms and compliance with regulatory guidelines. You will support cost saving initiatives, execute national network strategy, and ensure high performing network development and that providers across our service area have the information and support they need to provide best‑in‑class member care.
This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in‑office work per week. Thursdays are a required in‑office day for team meetings and events while your other two office days are flexible.
Base pay for this role is $96,876 - $127,149 per year. You are also eligible for benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, paid wellness time and reimbursements. In addition, you will receive monthly vacation accrual at a rate of 15 days per year, participation in an unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
