Job summary

White Oak Global Advisors is seeking a Middle Office Associate with 4 to 6 years of accounting and/or analysis experience in a financial services firm. You will join an experienced middle office team and collaborate with accounting and portfolio management teams to strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills in private credit.

The role emphasizes trade confirmations, data management, reconciliation, and ensuring settlement accuracy across loan activity in a fast-paced trading environment.

Qualifications

• Degree with a preference for Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• 4 to 6 years of accounting, middle office or finance-related position, ideally with a hedge fund or private equity firm.
• Ambitious self-starter with great analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to perform and maintain productivity in fast-paced, high-energy trading and accounting environments.

Responsibilities

• Trade confirmation of new fundings, paydowns, and other loan activity
• Investment data management, including reconciliation of positions and P&L with fund administrators and loan agents
• Will be an SS&C Advent Geneva functional expert
• Ensure accuracy of settlement for all investment related cash activity
• Work with loan servicing analysts to monitor and manage portfolio credits
• Analyze loan service agreements and related legal documents for key loan details

White Oak is looking for an exceptional Middle Office Associate with 4 to 6 years of professional accounting and/or analysis experience in a financial services firm. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of financial instruments, including bank loans, and should possess a developed understanding of accounting principles.

In this role, you will join an experienced middle office team, while also working closely with the accounting and portfolio management teams. You will be able to strengthen and grow your analytical and problem-solving skills while gaining experience in the rapidly growing private credit industry.
