Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Associate Merchant for First Aid/Medication at our corporate office. The role supports the Category Director and Category Merchants across merchandising processes, from assortment development to executing the merchandising strategy for all channels.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in merchandise/buying, with strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Retail merchandising experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis and research to assist in the development of Category Strategy.
• Consult on the assortment definition and product selection for the respective Category.
• Assist in the definition of the assortment.
• Consult on product development activities for the respective Category.
• Develop copy and text in support of Marketing for Category product.
• Provide input for selection of products to be included in promotional programs and ensure appropriate representation in promotions.
• Develop and approve all plan‑o‑guides, display guides, flow guides, and planners for the Category.
• Provide input to Weekly Business Reviews and Monthly P&L of the Category.
• Consult on potential merchandising business and system improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate vendor performance, recommend sources of supply, and prepare analysis for vendor meetings.
• Identify new sources of supply, prepare for overseas buying trips, select vendors, and negotiate costs.
• Consult on financial and assortment planning activities for the Category.
• Manage vendor relationships within the Category.

About Your Role

As a DT Associate Merchant at Dollar Tree’s corporate office, you’ll support the Category Director and Category Merchants by providing assistance with all merchandising business processes for all channels (including assortment development, execution of the merchandising strategy, and implementing merchandising plans for Dollar Tree Stores). Your day‑to‑day job duties include the following:

Compensation

Start Rate = $75,000-$100,000K based on experience plus 20% bonus and equity.
