Do it Best Group in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Associate Merchandise Manager to work with vendors and Merchandising Managers to select products and analyze pricing and buying strategies. The role requires strong organization, communication, and a team-oriented attitude with opportunities for advancement.

You will negotiate promotions, respond to vendor and member inquiries, and help manage inventory and market initiatives in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level education in Marketing, Sales or Business-related field or equivalent retail/wholesale experience.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills to support pricing and product selection.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and development of appropriate product mix for members and vendors.
• Balance member and retail pricing and update product information.
• Respond to member questions and explain product choices/changes.
• Implement stocking changes and new product introductions.
• Support biannual Market convention preparation and market specials negotiations.
• Develop, negotiate, and submit promotional offers.
• Manage inventory to meet turns and service levels.
