AbbVie seeks a Medical Safety Reviewer to lead medical safety reviews of clinical SAEs and develop company analyses for SUSARs. You will assess causality, liaise with trial stakeholders, and contribute to GPS initiatives within a global safety framework.

The role requires MD-level credentials and 1–2 years of drug safety experience, with strong knowledge of safety regulations and post-marketing reporting. This is a full-time position based in the United States with AbbVie's comprehensive

• Understands safety profile of assigned AbbVie products and development compounds as well as safety aspects of relevant therapeutic area drugs and patient populations.
• Understands disease state for each indication within assigned AbbVie products and development compounds.
• Understands global regulations, processes and practices.
• Contributes as requested to Global Patient Safety (GPS) initiatives, controlled procedures and MSR training activities; supports audits, inspections and CAPA investigations as necessary.
