Overview

Join Carle Health as a BC Hematology/Oncology Physician and step into a high‑impact opportunity designed for physicians with at least 3 years post‑fellowship experience seeking clinical excellence, multidisciplinary collaboration, leadership role, and meaningful growth within a stable, vertically integrated health system. This role offers the chance to help shape an expanding cancer program while benefiting from strong subspecialty support, academic collaboration, research access, and a highly competitive compensation package. Call schedule is negotiable.

Opportunity Details

• Position will be based in Peoria, Illinois.
• Primarily General Hematology/Oncology, with the option to incorporate subspecialty focus.
• Multidisciplinary team includes Hematology/Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Gynecologic Oncology, Breast Surgeons, Colorectal Surgeons, CT Surgeons, nurses, social work, nutrition counseling, and genetics services.
• Weekly disease‑specific tumor boards (Upper GI, Lower GI, Breast, Thoracic, etc.) and strong support from Radiation Oncology and surgical services.
• Accredited by CoC, NAPBC, and NAPRC with a lung interdisciplinary team.
• Ancillary support services and oncology infrastructure available on site.
• Academic and research opportunities at Carle Illinois College of Medicine with faculty rank commensurate with background.
• Generous compensation package within a stable health system.
• Applicants must have at least three years post‑fellowship experience and a leadership interest; prior leadership experience is not required.
• EPIC electronic medical records, including Beacon module, are utilized.
