Job summary

StaffMED Health Partners, LLC is seeking an Associate Medical Director to lead clinical performance across a group of senior primary care centers in the Greater Orlando area. You will mentor clinicians, shape practice patterns, and drive high-value care with your clinical credibility as currency.

Requirements include MD/DO with board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine, and an active Florida license.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
• Active, unrestricted Florida medical license.
• 3+ years in downside risk or Medicare Advantage primary care.
• Strong peer relationships and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical performance for a district of 5–10 senior primary care centers in Greater Orlando.
• Mentor clinicians and shape practice patterns to maintain high-value care.
• Coach on VBC documentation and referrals; ensure compliant HCC documentation.
• Provide quality and peer review leadership across the district.

You will lead clinical performance for a district of 5 to 10 senior primary care centers across the Greater Orlando region, mentoring clinicians, shaping practice patterns, and keeping care inside high value channels, with your own clinical credibility as the currency.

What you will own

• Peer coaching grounded in practice pattern and cost data that changes provider behavior
• A structured mentorship framework that upskills Nurse Practitioners and PAs in VBC documentation and referrals
• Compliant HCC documentation coached at the point of care
• Quality and peer review committee leadership across your district

What you bring

• MD or DO, board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
• Active, unrestricted Florida license
• Three plus years practicing inside a downside risk or Medicare Advantage primary care model
• The standing with peers to have hard conversations and be thanked for them
