Job summary

VulcanForms in Devens, MA seeks an Associate Product Engineer, Medical Devices to help define and execute manufacturing processes from print to finished, inspected product.

Under senior engineers, you will drive process improvements, maintain work instructions, and ensure quality while meeting throughput targets in a regulated medical devices environment. Responsibilities include Kaizen participation and collaboration with quality teams, with robust documentation and configuration control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, or Biomedical Engineering required.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Siemens NX, Creo, SolidWorks) preferred.
• Experience in metal manufacturing across additive and subtractive methods preferred.
• Exposure to FDA 21 CFR or equivalent in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support operations to keep product moving through the factory.
• Own end-to-end cycle time for assigned medical device parts from printing to shipment.
• Participate in Kaizen events and contribute data and process analysis.
• Work with quality to ensure inspection techniques meet customer needs.
