Job summary

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job is responsible for clinic patient support by performing essential clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the healthcare team.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using the team based approach, assists in the coordination of patient care under supervision of the health care provider (14%)


• Prepares and rooms patients within the clinic practice setting according to standardized work flows. Accurately obtains patient vital signs and history. May assist in the completion of various screening tools.(15%


• Assists providers with examinations and procedures.(15%)


• Provides follow up with patients via preferred method of communication in accordance with provider instructions.(14%)


• Prepares exam rooms for patient visit. Ensures adequate inventory of medical supplies.(14%)


• Accurately performs lab controls and equipment checks.(14%)


• Documents accurately in the electronic health record.(14%)


• Other duties as assigned or requested.
