Pure Air Filtration, LLC, a Cleanwater1, Inc. subsidiary, is seeking a full-time Associate Media Technician in Norcross, GA to support production of adsorbent media for air purification and odor control systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with media production activities including blending, mixing, filling, packaging, labeling, and material handling.
  • Identify and handle raw materials and media products according to procedures.
  • Follow recipes and batch records under supervision.
  • Perform box, module, and canister filling activities while meeting quality standards.
  • Assist with production setup, cleaning, changeovers, and contamination prevention.
  • Collect and label samples and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe production work areas per 5S standards.
  • Identify abnormal conditions and notify supervision.
  • Assist with inventory movement, material staging, and storage activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training.

Pure Air is seeking a full‑time Associate Media Technician to support production of adsorbent media products used in air purification and odor control systems. This position reports to the Director of Operations and assists with media production, material handling, equipment operation, packaging, documentation, and maintain a safe and organized work environment while developing knowledge of media production processes.


Essential Job Functions


  • Assist with media production activities including blending, mixing, filling, packaging, labeling, and material handling.

  • Identify and handle raw materials and media products according to established procedures and work instructions.

  • Follow recipes, batch records, and production instructions under supervision.

  • Perform box, module, and canister filling activities while meeting quality and production standards.

  • Assist with production setup, cleaning, changeovers, and contamination prevention activities.

  • Collect and label samples according to established procedures.

  • Complete required documentation accurately.

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe production work areas in accordance with 5S standards.

  • Identify abnormal conditions and promptly notify supervision.

  • Assist with inventory movement, material staging, and storage activities.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training and development activities.

  • Operate production equipment and material handling equipment as trained and authorized.

  • Work collaboratively with production, warehouse, and other operational teams to support business objectives.

  • Follow established safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Ability to following written and verbal instructions

  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and PPE requirements

  • Ability to perform repetitive production tasks with attention to detail

  • Basic math skill sufficient to follow recipes, count inventory, and complete documentation

  • Ability to understand labels, production instructions, and essential safety information in English

  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to safety lift materials and perform physical production activities


Preferred Qualifications


  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial work experience

  • Experience working with production equipment or material handling equipment

  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified

  • Experience following work instructions, batch records, or standard operating procedures

  • Familiarity with ERP or manufacturing systems such as Odoo

  • Experience working in a chemical, media, packaging, or industrial production environment


Physical Demands


  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

  • Ability to regularly lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive motions

  • Ability to work around production environment, raw materials, and packaged media products

  • Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

  • Manufacturing and production environment

  • Regular exposure to production equipment, raw materials, dust, and packaged products

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

  • Occasional operation of powered material handling equipment if trained and authorized

This is a non‑exempt position. Compensation is dependent on skill level. The base salary range for this position is $16.35 and $19.90 per hour. Benefits package and incentives are provided. We generally offer employees working 21 hours per work or more medical, dental, vision, along with voluntary ancillary benefits. The Company has a 401(k)-match program and has company‑paid life and AD&D insurance available for eligible employees.
