Description

The Associate Media Director, Programmatic, is responsible for supporting our omnichannel programmatic strategy and execution within Syneos Health, collaborating with agency teams. The role involves evangelizing the importance of omnichannel programmatic media in pharmaceutical media plans and working with Data Science to ensure effective data utilization for ROI. The target audience includes healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers. The person will manage personalized programmatic media campaigns targeting these audiences to deliver positive results for clients.

Additionally, this individual will grow and maintain partnerships across the media group, including database services, DSP providers, and direct buy media partners. Hands-on experience in a trading desk environment is essential, along with the ability to lead trading and ad operations.

Core Responsibilities
Omnichannel Programmatic Media Strategy
  • Provide recommendations on channel mix and strategic development for clients
  • Enhance and scale our offerings
  • Collaborate on new business opportunities and pitches with partner agencies
  • Lead media collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Build relationships with client and agency brand teams to promote programmatic media adoption
  • Share best practices for campaign management, reporting, and execution
  • Communicate trends and insights across agencies
  • Support trading and ad operations processes
Media Planning
  • Create presentations for stakeholders
  • Develop and present media recommendations with partners
  • Work with data science to develop measurement plans
  • Own campaign KPIs and overall success
Media Consulting
  • Provide media strategy consultancy
  • Coordinate between media teams and third-party agencies to align strategies and maximize creative potential
Systems & Tools
  • Experience with ad tech platforms (e.g., DeepIntent, PulsePoint, Lasso)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools
  • Experience with ad serving, tag management, and operations
  • Familiarity with competitive media tools (e.g., Kantar, Pathmatics, comScore)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in programmatic, ad operations, or biddable media
  • Experience with pharmaceutical programmatic campaigns
  • Knowledge of multimedia in programmatic environments
  • Healthcare/pharmaceutical experience required
  • Additional biddable media experience (social, search) a plus
  • Strong presentation and client engagement skills
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and detail-oriented abilities
  • Analytical and quantitative skills
