You will contribute to the design of aircraft structures and mechanical systems, developing layouts and drawings, and collaborating with tooling, flight sciences, manufacturing, and production to ensure requirements are met efficiently. Ideal candidates are pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with strong teamwork and communication

Responsabilités

• Participate in design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures and systems.
• Prepare engineering drawings and layouts using 3D CAD tools.
• Coordinate with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.

Job Description:

Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations. Engineer applies basic engineering design and/or analytical theory with understanding of structural analysis for application to integrated system design. Engineers will be responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost. Designs will be accomplished using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers. Mechanical design engineers have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks and aircraft systems on various aircraft platforms.

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
