OVERVIEW The Equipment Engineering team, part of the Research & Development (R&D) organization at SealedAir, is a group of highly motivated, energetic, and bright individuals with a wide variety of skillsets. The thing that unites us is the joy we get from solving complex technical challenges in a collaborative environment. The mission of our team is to conceptualize, develop, and commercialize industrial food packaging systems that deliver value to our customers and support the growth of the global Sealed Air business.
As a member of this team, you will work closely with fellow engineers, designers, technicians, Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing to develop automation equipment and electro-mechanical assemblies. The scope of work in the R&D organization is broad and will provide opportunities to support project conceptualization, planning, design, manufacturing, in-house testing, installation, troubleshooting, and the development of supporting machine documentation. In this role, you will build and expand your design skills, manufacturing knowledge, business acumen, and professional skillset while developing as a technical contributor. The qualified individual will support Sealed Air’s growth initiatives by helping create practical, reliable, and innovative equipment solutions for customers.
