Job summary

Saur Energy International in the United States (West Virginia) seeks an experienced Building Services Leader to define and implement technical strategies for integrating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems across complex projects.

You will mentor teams, manage end-to-end delivery, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with architects and contractors to deliver sustainable, cost-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 15 years in building services, with at least 5 years in leading major project delivery.
• Chartered Engineer status with the UK Engineering Council.

Innovation & Sustainability

Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.).

Compliance & Standards

Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines.

Team Development

Mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated solutions.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

Desired Skills

• Excellent working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA and other local codes and good working knowledge of UK codes would be advantageous.
