Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL is seeking an Associate, Material Management to support cost-saving initiatives and efficient material flow for government and commercial programs.

The role requires pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. You will use MRP systems to time phase material, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional resources on 9/80 schedules with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or have completed the degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.
• Utilize MRP systems to time phase material to service cash flow objectives and program schedule.
• Plan, schedule and monitor the movement of material from requirement to end user.
• Interpret material requirements from engineering specs and production schedules.
• Monitor and reconcile supply chain disruptions throughout the program lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional supply chain resources for scalable internal capacity.
• Estimate and manage labor and material budgets for program supply chain resources.
• Coordinate material distribution with purchasing, warehouse, and end users.
• Establish, track, and report EVMS performance for large budget programs.
• Plan and schedule materials, equipment, and commodity products for government and commercial programs.
• Participate and/or lead projects/teams as assigned.
• Identify process improvements and facilitate implementation.

Job Description:

• Develop strategies, implement plans, and track progress for cost savings initiatives.
