Job summary

Amgen is seeking a dedicated Associate Manufacturing - Days (A Shift) to perform buffer and media operations per SOPs. You will execute validation protocols, draft and revise manufacturing procedures, and support documentation workflows. Cross-functional collaboration and minor deviation ownership may be required.

Qualified candidates bring manufacturing experience, GMP knowledge, and strong technical writing abilities to help ensure compliant, high-quality production processes.

Qualifications

• High school/GED plus 2 years manufacturing or operations experience, or
• Associates plus 6 months experience, or
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations in Buffer and Media processes following SOPs.
• Execute routine validation protocols and draft/ revise Manufacturing Procedures and SOPs.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and assist in document review for assigned functions.
• Possibly participate on cross-functional teams and own minor deviations.

Associate Manufacturing - Days (A Shift)

What you will do

Lets do this. Lets change the world. In this vital role you will perform operations in the Manufacturing area, specifically Buffer and Media processes. Operations will be performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Associate will perform and monitor critical processes, execute routine validation protocols, and regularly draft and revise documents such as Manufacturing Procedures, SOPs, and technical reports. Associate will also perform basic troubleshooting and assist in the review of documentation for assigned functions. May participate on cross-functional teams and represent the Solutions Prep group. Associate may also have the responsibility of owning minor deviations. In addition, Associate may identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.

Basic Qualifications

• High school/GED + 2 years of manufacturing or operations work experience OR
• Associates + 6 months of manufacturing or operations work experience OR
• Bachelors

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of large-scale Buffer and Media operations, GMP processing, etc.
• CFR and Regulatory knowledge
• Mechanical ability/expertise
• Knowledge of WIP lab equipment and computers, with LIMS access
• Basic statistical mathematical skills
• Ability to interpret and apply GMP knowledge
• Ability to demonstrate technical writing capability with Trackwise access
• Independently collaborate with support groups.
• Ability to understand, apply and evaluate basic chemistry, biology and physical principles
• Basic troubleshooting skills on Buffer and Media equipment
• Experience with Delta V.
• Experience with lab equipment/testing

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
