Job summary

Campbell's is hiring an Associate Manager, Transportation Strategic Customer Performance to improve on-time delivery across business units. You will turn shipment data into root-cause insights, lead performance reviews with carriers and 3PLs, and drive changes to improve reliability.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in transportation or logistics, with advanced Excel skills and knowledge of TMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3+ years of transportation or logistics experience.
  • Advanced Excel; Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Working knowledge of TMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Own on-time delivery performance for assigned business units and lanes.
  • Analyze large shipment, carrier, and service datasets to identify root causes of service failures and trends.
  • Lead recurring performance reviews with carriers, 3PLs, ship sites, and Customer Supply Chain; drive corrective actions.
  • Recommend and execute route guide changes and capacity adjustments based on performance.
  • Partner with Procurement, Customer Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Planning to resolve systemic issues affecting on-time service.
  • Develop and maintain carrier scorecards and service reporting for leadership.
  • Coach Transportation Analysts in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

How you will make history here...

The Associate Manager, Transportation Strategic Customer Performance is responsible for improving on-time delivery to Campbell's customers. This role leads service performance management across internal teams, carriers, and third-party logistics providers by turning shipment data into root-cause insights, leading performance reviews, and driving route guide changes that improve reliability.

What you will do...
  • Own on-time delivery performance for assigned business units and lanes, tracking results against KPI targets and customer expectations.
  • Analyze large shipment, carrier, and service datasets to identify root causes of service failures and trends by lane, carrier, site, and customer.
  • Lead recurring internal and external performance reviews with carriers, 3PLs, ship sites, and Customer Supply Chain; drive corrective action plans to closure.
  • Recommend and execute route guide changes, including carrier awards, tender sequence, and capacity adjustments, based on service performance.
  • Partner with Procurement, Customer Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, and Planning to resolve systemic issues affecting on-time service.
  • Develop and maintain carrier scorecards and service reporting for leadership.
  • Coach and develop Transportation Analysts in data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $72,000-$99,000. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
