The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees customer-facing software implementation, migration, and custom projects. This includes preparing customer kickoff materials, developing and maintaining milestone plans, coordinating resource requests, tracking project financials, managing invoices, facilitating regular project meetings, documenting meeting minutes, monitoring risks and issues, and ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders.
Manage multiple customer projects concurrently, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations are effectively controlled.
Develop, maintain, and communicate project milestone plans, schedules, status updates, meeting minutes, action items, and project documentation.
Own and track forecasts, actuals, revenue, billing, project hours, invoices, and other financial measures to support accurate project reporting and contract compliance.
Identify, document, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; recommend and implement mitigation plans as appropriate.
Monitor and identify potential scope changes or scope creep; coordinate change control activities when additional work or revised requirements are identified.
Coordinate with internal teams, technical resources, customers, and stakeholders to manage business requirements, technical requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
Facilitate customer and internal project meetings, ensuring decisions, action items, risks, and follow-ups are clearly documented and communicated.
Oversee assigned project team activities by providing direction, clarifying priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines and objectives are understood.
Support continuous improvement by contributing to new procedures, templates, and process enhancements that improve delivery consistency and customer outcomes.
Five or more years of project management experience, preferable managing multiple small to mid-sized customer software projects concurrently without dedicated project teams.
Experience executing projects in MS Project and MS Excel.
Experience managing software implementation, upgrade, migration, or IT delivery projects through the full project lifecycle.
Strong knowledge of project management practices, including project planning, budget tracking, forecasting, risk management, issue management, change control, quality assurance, and delivery governance.
Experience working with customer business objectives, critical success factors, contractual requirements, and project performance measures.
Experience working within a software development or implementation lifecycle, including requirements, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and transition to support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with customers, project teams, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage many active projects, competing priorities, and frequent context switching.
High attention to detail, particularly in meeting minutes, project tracking, financial reporting, invoice approvals, issue follow-up, and risk documentation.
Ability to anticipate issues, recommend practical solutions, and drive follow-through to resolution.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and support successful project outcomes.
Experience with insurance, claims software, or claims administration is preferred.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to process, template, and procedural improvements.
Willingness to work outside standard business hours when required to support project needs or customer commitments.
May require occasional travel.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $76,700 - $142,500.
