Brasseler USA Inc. is seeking a Category Manager to lead and grow our Brands and Specialty pharmaceutical categories. You will analyze performance, shape strategies, and negotiate supplier terms under managerial guidance.
You will manage new product submissions, pricing, forecasting, and catalog setup, coordinating with suppliers to craft launch promotions and ensure accurate content across channels.
This position is responsible for managing and developing our expertise in the product categories inclusive of Brands and Specialty pharmaceuticals. Responsible for developing plans that will result in increased sales, market share and/or profitability. Responsibilities include category analysis, strategy development, supplier profitability and contribution, category maintenance and new product launches. With direction from manager, negotiate supplier distribution agreements, and determine new supplier and/or item setups.
Excellent Excel Skills. Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office. Must have strong analytical skills and must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to multi-task and work in a team environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Train, lead, and develop their team on processes and procedures.
Strong management skills and ability to attract, retain, motivate and develop team members for high performance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively. Strong presentation and public speaking skills. Strong decision making, analysis and problem solving skills with ability to multi-task. Understand and act on financial information that may contribute to business profitability. Ability to manage successful projects, manage risks, costs, time and project teams. Lead team to achieve company goals in effective ways. Strong planning and organizational skills and techniques. Broad professional and managerial skills with an understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
Typically 7 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience; first-level manager.
Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent a plus.
Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
The posted range for this position is $87,547 to $136,792 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus not reflected in the posted range.
