Job summary

Gehl Food & Beverage is seeking an Associate Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift (AWS First Shift 6:00 am - 6:00 PM). The role maintains and repairs manufacturing equipment, performs preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail are essential.
• Basic math, computer, and documentation skills (Microsoft Office preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret manuals and safety guidelines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and support repairs.
• Help conduct equipment trial runs and ensure proper operation.
• Report equipment issues and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and accurate work logs.
• Support team efforts to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety standards and GMP guidelines.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Base = $25/hr. (+ based on experience)

Position Overview

The Associate Maintenance Technician performs basic repairs and routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment while building technical skills under supervision.
