Responsibilities

• Proactive case management from start to finish in state and federal courts.
• Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.

• Deposition taking of key fact witnesses including Plaintiffs.
• Preparation of case updates and handling of client communications as requested.
• Ability to work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

Maron Marvel has an immediate opening for an associate attorney to join its Jersey City office. Successful candidates will have exceptional research and writing skills, and the ability to handle a broad spectrum of civil cases.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactive case management from start to finish in both state and federal courts.
• Drafting of pleadings, written discovery, and dispositive motions.
• Comprehensive legal analysis, case evaluations, and strategy recommendations.
• Deposition taking of key fact witnesses including Plaintiffs.
• Preparation of case updates and handling of client communications as requested.
• Ability to work closely with paralegals to ensure efficient case management.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted in the State of New Jersey Bar & New York
• 2-5 years litigation experience.
