Job summary

Bowman and Brooke LLP, a nationally recognized litigation firm, seeks Associate in our Costa Mesa, CA office. The role offers hands-on experience in product liability and high-stakes litigation, with growth through mentorship and trial exposure.

You will handle day-to-day case development, depositions, client interaction, discovery tasks, and drafting motions, collaborating with partners and expert witnesses in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid remote option available.

Qualifications

• JD or foreign law degree required.
• Active CA Bar membership or ability to obtain
• 3+ years of litigation experience required.

What you will do

We are seeking a motivated and talentedAssociateto join ourProduct Liability Practice Groupinour Costa Mesa, CA office. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for attorneys with hands‑on experience inlitigationto grow their careers in a supportive and fast‑paced environment.

You’ll be a vital member of our team, withhands‑on responsibilityfor day‑to‑day case development— includinghandling depositions, engaging directly with clients, collaborating with technical experts, managing critical discovery tasks, anddrafting and arguing motions.You’ll also play a key role in supporting partners on strategic litigation planning, all the way throughtrial preparation and execution.

We’re looking fora self-starterwith3+ years of litigation experience, who is eager to develop expertise across a broad range of matters. The ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and advocacy skills, a high degree of independence and initiative, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to the success of our clients.

Basic Qualifications

• JD or foreign equivalent from accredited law school
• Active member of the California Bar or ability to become a member of the CA Bar
• 3+ years of litigation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of current state and federal procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence
• Trial experience preferred, but not required

Compensation
