Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Execute investor relations strategies and service the investor base.

Job Description

The role will be focused on the execution of Investor Relations ("IR") strategies, servicing the Investor base, capital raising for Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition strategies, and contributing to content creation and thought leadership across our product offerings. You will manage relationships with colleagues and senior management across the business to implement IR strategies, build awareness among institutional and retail shareholders, maintain positive stakeholder relations and enhance the investor base. The individual selected for this role will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with existing investors and strategically growing Brookfield Renewable Power & Transition’s investor base, while being part of a fast-paced and engaging team environment that is at the forefront of renewable power & transition investing. Responsibilities
  • Communicate directly with investors and internal stakeholders to fulfill a variety of investor queries which may include RFIs, RFPs, DDQs and ad-hoc requests by utilizing all internal and external resources to provide responses to all routine and non-routine questions
  • Monitor and track renewables and transition market activity, key industry trends and competitive intelligence
  • Coordinate and manage the preparation and dissemination of IR materials, internal communications for major transactions and capital raising initiatives
  • Coordinate and prepare for quarterly conference calls/webcasts with private fund investors
  • Coordinate road shows, conferences, investor meetings, and asset tours
  • Create bespoke materials such as deep dive presentations on emerging technologies, portfolio company updates or Brookfield’s capabilities
  • Work with peers in other Brookfield platforms to identify best practices to ensure quality and consistency of IR materials
  • Assist with strategic initiatives across other IR functions within the Renewable Power & Transition group
  • Plan and coordinate special projects and events, including Annual Brookfield Global Investor Conference
  • Support other various investor relations initiatives as required
Qualifications / Requirements
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience with an undergraduate university degree preferably in finance, business or economics
  • solid understanding and interest in financial markets and renewable energy sector
  • Preference for working towards or completion of a professional designation (CPA/CA; CFA)
  • A strong understanding of private equity investment structures, key financial topics, institutional investors
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate financial topics into concise and clear messaging
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization
  • Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential and non-routine information
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
Salary Range

Salary Range: $125k - $140k Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
