LUMA Energy busca un Asesor Jurídico Interno para apoyar asuntos de permisos, cumplimiento y aprobaciones regulatorias necesarios para sus operaciones y proyectos en Puerto Rico. Se requerirá drafts, revisión y negociación de acuerdos complejos y gestión de presentaciones ante autoridades.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
• 5 years of experience in permitting and licensing processes related to land use, construction, energy, telecommunications, or infrastructure projects.
• Licensed Attorney and Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
• Bilingual Spanish and English are assets.

Responsabilités

• Redactar, revisar y negociar acuerdos legales, permisos y presentaciones regulatorias relacionados con servidumbres, anexos y cumplimiento; gestionar solicitudes de infraestructura de terceros y coordinar con asesores externos.
• Representar a la empresa ante tribunales de Puerto Rico (Superiores, Appellate y Supremo) y ante organismos reguladores; preparar y presentar escritos, mociones y otros documentos legales.
• Asesorar a equipos internos sobre obligaciones de permisos y uso de tierras, riesgos de disputas y estrategias de mitigación.
• Liderar proyectos o colaborar en proyectos pequeños y actuar como experto de asuntos legales para clientes internos y externos.
