Job summary

Ingram Micro, Plainfield, IN, is seeking an Associate III, Logistics to handle the movement, loading and unloading of materials, conduct crate and package handling, and process orders. The role involves inventory updates and stocking, with emphasis on accuracy and timely fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Two year college degree or equivalent experience or High School Diploma with significant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years in the functional area.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision and adapt to routine or non-routine tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Handle, move, load and unload materials by hand or with equipment.
  • Open and seal crates, boxes, cartons, and other containers.
  • Process orders from requisitions and dispense stock items.
  • Assist in inventory, stock rotation and stock counts.
  • Ship, receive and process freight according to company policies.
  • Update purchase order system as shipments are received, cancelled, or back-ordered.
  • Provide inventory paperwork updates and communicate issues to management.
  • May participate in kit and bundle breakdown and component sorting.

Education

Two year college degree or equivalent experience

Opens and seals crates, boxes, cartons, and other containers. Collects, sorts, stores and distributes materials. Process orders from requisitions and dispense stock items. May assist in inventory of stock, including stock rotation. Responsible for the shipping, receiving and processing of freight according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and/or timely delivery of merchandise. Maintains and updates the purchase order system as shipments are received, cancelled, or back ordered. Processes inventory paperwork. Updates management on all inventory issues on a regular and as-needed basis. May participate in activities including kit and bundle breakdown and component sorting.What you bring to the role:Seasoned individual contributor. Works under limited supervision for routine situations. Provides assistance and training to lower level employees. Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $36,600.00 - $54,900.00 per year.The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire.
