Jacobs is seeking a senior hydrogeologist based in Bellevue, WA to lead investigations of soil, groundwater, and related media. You’ll spend about 25% in the field and the rest in the office compiling data, finalizing reports, and building hydrogeologic models as part of multi-disciplinary teams.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in hydrogeology or geology, 10+ years of field-based experience, and hold WA licenses as a Geologist and Hydrogeologist, with 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hydrogeology or related field required.
• 10+ years of professional experience leading investigations of contaminated media.
• Field work methodologies and procedures in environmental industry.
• Experience designing/running hydrogeologic models for contaminant fate and transport.
• 40‑hr HAZWOPER certification or ability to attain.
• WA Geologist and WA Hydrogeologist licenses.

Responsibilities

• Visit project sites; ~25% field time.
• Balance field work with office data evaluation, reporting, and planning documents.
• Build and refine hydrogeologic models.
• Prepare project planning documents and reports.
• Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining safety standards.
