Job summary

YMCA of Dane County is seeking an entry level Associate Graphic Designer to create and produce graphic design materials while maintaining consistent brand standards. You will support with vendor coordination and other design tasks inside a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes detail-oriented design work, familiarity with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite, and a commitment to high-quality visuals for marketing campaigns and member communications.

Qualifications

• Understanding of graphic principles, layout, and design.
• Experience with Google platform, Mac platforms, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong proofreading and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with ads, brochures, and digital campaigns.
• Knowledge of print process and working with vendors.
• Understanding of branding and corporate marketing/communications.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

The successful candidate must have a combination of education and/or experience. Any of the following is acceptable:

• Associates Degree in graphic design, art, advertising, or related degree (Preferred)
• No degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience.
