Mount Carmel Foundation is seeking an Associate Grant Manager in Columbus to support grant fundraising, ensure compliance, and drive reporting and post‑award activities. You will manage grant submissions, coordinate with program design teams, and collaborate with a regional manager on large proposals.

The role emphasizes strong written/verbal communication, rigorous project management, and building relationships with grantmaking organizations to grow institutional funding while mitigating risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Grant Professional Certified (GPC) or CFRE preferred.
• 3–5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of government, private foundation, and corporate grant processes.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manages a fundraising portfolio with growth expectations over time.
• Establishes relationships with grantmaking organizations.
• Engages colleagues with program design, application preparation, and reporting structures.
• Independently manages submission of assigned grant applications.
• Partners with Regional Grant Manager on large, complex proposals.
