Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Associate General Counsel to translate legal complexity into strategic opportunity. You will provide senior-level support across business functions, balancing risk with innovation, and work across geographies to drive informed decisions.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, interpret laws and enforcement trends, and support high-impact transactions while collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the job location.
• Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, including in-house or cross-functional legal advisory roles.
• Preferred: background in life sciences, healthcare, or a highly regulated global industry.

• The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

• This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs.
