Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school with active bar membership, in good standing, in any US state and ability to gain admission to the Kentucky Bar as in house counsel.
• 12+ years of experience in transactional practice including exposure to supply chain and/or sales, and technology issues.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, international sourcing, and commercial law counseling involving consumer products.

Responsibilities

• Structure, draft, review, negotiate and provide advice on a wide range of commercial agreements related to global sourcing of commodities, parts and SFGs.
• Serve as the primary liaison between GE Appliances legal and intracompany sourcing, including with GE Appliances parent and joint ventures.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify risks and implement enterprise-wide solutions for the business.
• Analyze legal issues and create practical solutions to support business objectives within risk tolerances.
• Develop materials and training for employees and oversee transactional attorneys and support staff.
