PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking an Associate General Counsel to provide internal legal support and coordinate PJM's regulatory compliance activities. The role involves representing PJM before FERC, preparing filings, and supervising the Law Department to align with federal and state regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional legal initiatives, advise executive management on complex regulatory matters, and ensure PJM’s compliance with energy market

Competenze

• JD degree required.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership or managerial experience.

Associate General Counsel### Associate General CounselApply: Audubon, PA: Full time: Posted Yesterday: REQ-2026-4297# **Flexible Work Arrangement: Hybrid - The primary location for this position is Audubon, PA**# # The **Associate General Counsel** provides internal legal support for PJM and is responsible for coordinating and managing the regulatory compliance activities of PJM to accomplish its business objectives. Through leadership and teamwork, the Associate General Counsel assures appropriate legal interests are achieved in a manner consistent with evolving Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (\"FERC\") policies, applicable state utility regulations and PJM's Core Values.# # **Essential Functions:*** # Reports to the Executive Vice President, General Counsel on the status and development of applicable federal and state laws and regulations and PJM’s compliance therewith.* # Represents PJM in proceedings before FERC, including rulemakings, complaints, tariff filings and compliance filings.* # Serves as primary legal liaison between PJM and FERC staff, administrative law judges and other federal stakeholders.* # Prepares and supervises staff attorneys in preparation of filings with FERC and state regulatory agencies.* # Oversees administrative litigation, and supports civil litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.* # Prepares filings with state regulatory agencies.* # Coordinates with the Vice President, Federal Government Policy, Governmental & Member Services Division and outside counsel in the analysis and interpretation of regulatory matters affecting PJM and the representation of PJM before regulatory agencies.* # Responsible for managing and implementing the company’s legal, regulatory and compliance functions to ensure that the business objectives of the PJM Board of Managers and Executive Management are met through exercise of high level of judgment and managerial discretion that reflects the company’s sensitivities, objectives, and regulatory requirements.* # Provides tariff interpretation, upon request, to the PJM Members Committee, the Markets and Reliability Committees and the several Member sub-committees.* # Monitors and directs outside legal counsel to assist in achieving PJM’s regulatory objectives.* # Remains available for consultation by the General Counsel and by lower level attorneys.* # Supervises administration of the Law Department, attorneys, paralegals and administrative staff.
