Regional Transportation District seeks an in-house attorney to provide broad legal services across transactions and litigation. The role includes drafting and negotiating contracts, advising internal departments and the Board, and coordinating with outside counsel.
Qualifications include a Juris Doctorate and Colorado Bar admission with a minimum of four years’ practice. Prior in-house or government experience is preferred, and knowledge of PUC compliance is a plus.

Performs general legal services for the organization in the area of transactions or litigation as well as specialization in one or more legal compliance areas such as PUC (Public Utilities Commission) and federal regulatory compliance (Federal Transit Administration/Federal Railroad Administration), civil rights, employment, labor relations, public finance, procurement, public entity representation and governance, data privacy, real estate, construction, and public safety.

Pay Range:
$118,265.00 - $167,050.25 Annual
