Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking an accounting-focused professional for an essential fund accounting role in Utah. You will manage daily cash movements, journal entries, and fund notices, while aligning with client agreements and audit cycles.

The ideal candidate holds an accounting degree, demonstrates strong communication, and pursues CPA credentials. CPA-hopefuls and those with PE or financial services background are preferred. On-site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate with strong accounting skills and academic excellence.

• CPA, or intent to obtain CPA, is preferred.
• Able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and handle ambiguity.

• Background in private equity or public financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients.
• Prioritize tasks, handle multiple assignments, complete work with minimal direction.
• Develop and execute set goals within agreed timelines.
• Handle daily case activities and notices on assigned funds.
• Obtain approvals on correcting discrepancies and missing information.
• Prepare cash and journal entries.
• Participate in quarterly and annual audit processes.
• Understand governing agreements between Alter Domus and clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

YOUR PROFILE:

• High-performing accounting graduate;
