Under direct supervision, define the formulation, nutritional and process parameters needed to develop a new product which meets customer expectations and project objective(s)
Work collaboratively in the execution of development from bench to production scale for new products, product improvements andternoon cost savings projects
Create new prototypes for product development initiatives and identify, evaluate and approve potential ingredients and manufacturing suppliers
Identify opportunities for competitive market advantage through product benchmarking
Contribute significantly, directly and continually to attain results through the generation and application of advanced, specialized knowledge
Understand product requirements, plantequipmentand processes to enable the creation of detailed product specifications
Understand the commercialization process and contribute to the organization, implementation and management of work streams
Generate and support pipeline work to drive cost optimization through formulation and processing efficiencies
Manage calibration of laboratory equipment
Work collaboratively with manager and teammate at other locations to execute individual and team goals
Exhibit strong communication skills within technical and non médittechnical community

This job operates in a professional manufacturing and R&D lab environment. Must be able to conduct themselves accordingly. Lab hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) must be followed.

Role is a hybrid of computer-based work and lab/product development-based work. May require lifting boxes of up to 40 lbs. Expected Work Hours:

This is a full-time position. The employee must be available during “core” business hours between 8:00-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Travel:

20– 30% Headquarters in TN and 3 Manufacturing Facilities in PA
