SciensBuilding Solutions seeks an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector to assist with inspection and maintenance of fire alarm systems, coordinating with the sales team, field project staff, and clients to ensure code-compliant operation.

This position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Must have a high school diploma, willingness to learn NFPA standards, OSHA 10 readiness, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the fire-life safety industry.
• Ability to obtain knowledge of NFPA code requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and ability to obtain OSHA 10 certifications.
• Good organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Be physically fit to perform demanding work including lifting up to 25 pounds, up to 50 pounds occasionally; able to climb ladders and work from heights.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with urgency.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Assist with testing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Assist with delivering testing on schedule and within cost budgets.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

SciensBuilding Solutions is seeking an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector to assist with inspection and maintenance capabilities. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers’ systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are important elements of the position.
