Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in learning and growing in the fire-life safety industry.
• Ability to learn NFPA code requirements.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; ability to obtain OSHA 10.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding field work; lift up to 25 lb, occasional up to 50 lb; climb ladders.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

• Assist with reviewing system layouts and coordinating with systems and service departments for testing and inspection.
• Assist with testing and maintaining fire alarm systems.

THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Associate Fire Alarm Inspector to assist with inspection and maintenance capabilities. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure our customers' systems are inspected and maintained in a code-compliant manner. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are important elements of the position.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
