Job summary

Rocket Software, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to own operational workstreams for renewal execution, partnering with Renewals leadership, Sales, and cross-functional teams on M&A-related renewals activity and process documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in Finance/Accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role directly supports Finance leadership and senior executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
• 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills with pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights for executives.

Responsibilities

• Streamline financial renewal reporting and drive process improvements.
• Support monthly reporting, rolling forecasts, and annual budgeting in line with FP&A timelines.
• Collaborate with finance and cross-company teams to analyze performance vs plan.
• Present analyses to management and executives; advise on corrective actions.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and process-driven, with strong operational rigor, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across stakeholders. This person will ensure accurate account assignment, monitor renewal health, support reporting and process improvements, and maintain documentation that drives consistency across the team. It's a highly visible role, directly supporting Finance leadership and senior executives.Essential Duties and Responsibilities :Streamline and improve financial renewal reporting and identify/implement process improvements that enhance the accuracy and timeliness of our overall financial reporting processSupport the finance cadence/rhythm of the business for monthly reporting, rolling forecasts and the annual budgeting / planning cycle in alignment with Corporate FP&A timelinesCollaborate and partner with key department leads and cross-company finance and operational teams.Analyze results to understand performance against plan/forecast. Identify trends that indicate problems to address or opportunities to investigate. Highlight business issues and risks and drive changes to improve operations.
