Job summary

Baird in Sarasota, FL is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to support a Financial Advisor team in delivering wealth management solutions for individuals and families. You will help create customized financial plans, deliver them with the advisor, and engage next-generation clients through planning activities.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree, pursue CFP/CPWA/JD designations within a year, and already meet SIE and Series licenses requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Pursuit of professional designations (CFP, CPWA, JD) within one year.
Must hold SIE and Series 7/66 or Series 7/63/65 licenses.

Responsibilities

Review, research, and analyze data to create customized annual financial plans for clients.
Deliver the financial plan to clients in partnership with the Financial Advisor/Team.
Connect with next generation clients through planning.
Provide or lead financial education on long-term planning, Social Security/Medicare, tax considerations.
Identify investment solutions to implement plans in partnership with the Advisor/Team.
Support marketing efforts to solicit additional planning business and establish the team in front of prospects.
Research relevant news related to client plans to share as touchpoints.
Document, follow up, and support closing of opportunities identified from planning.
Serve as a Team specialist for planning topics and consult on client scenarios.
Monitor and track client revenues related to financial planning work.
