Job summary

Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, AK seeks a Full Time Maintenance Technician to keep the facility, grounds, equipment, and vehicles safe and dependable. This role is onsite and involves day-shift duties with a 40-hour week.

You will ensure building systems and interiors are well maintained and respond promptly to requests. Driving may be required; candidate must have a valid license and insurance as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 year general maintenance experience required.
• Driving may be necessary; provide proof of driver's license and auto insurance upon request.
• Hospital maintenance experience preferred.

• Maintain building, grounds, equipment, building systems, interior finishes, and vehicles to ensure safety, comfort, and security.
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform preventive maintenance to keep facilities reliable.

Required Qualifications:
