Prairie Capital Advisors, Inc. is seeking an Associate to support ESOP advisory engagements and sustainability analyses. You will work with project managers on repurchase obligation modeling and ESOP design considerations, presenting findings to leadership.

Ideal candidates have 2–7 years in financial modeling, ESOP exposure, strong Excel skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. This role offers remote work with some travel in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics or related field; MBA a plus.
• 2–7 years of experience in financial modeling and/or Repurchase Obligation analysis.
• Strong ESOP plan design knowledge and compliance testing.
• Advanced Excel skills with assumption-driven models.
• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) is a plus.
• Experience with non-qualified plans (SAR or synthetic equity) is a plus.

Responsibilities
