Job summary

Clear Street is seeking a Middle Office professional to support our Equity and Fixed income team. You will perform daily trade captures, confirmations, allocations, and respond to trade and settlement queries.

You will investigate positions and nostro breaks, assist regulatory reporting, manage broker confirmation processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement new applications. A minimum of 2 years in equity/fixed income trade processing and a Finance degree are required; base salary

Qualifications

• At least two years of professional experience with Equity/Fixed Income products and trade processing.
• BA/BS Degree in Finance or similar major.
• Strong understanding of equities and fixed income trade processing.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.

The Team:

We are looking for a Middle Office professional to work on the Clear Street Equity and Fixed team; a part of the operations division. This role will be focused on supporting clients and business stakeholders in the middle office function.

The Role:

• You will perform daily trade captures, confirmations and allocations
• Handle daily trade and settlement queries
• Investigate and resolve daily positions and nostro breaks
• Investigate and resolve regulatory reporting items
• Manage the monthly and quarterly Broker Confirmation processes
• Assist in the buildout of new applications and help test during integrations
• Work closely with business stakeholders to fulfill business requirements
• Contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team and company

Requirements:

• At least two (2) years of professional experience with and a strong knowledge of Equity/Fixed Income products
• BA/BS Degree in Finance or similar major
• Strong understanding of equities and fixed income trade processingExperience in various allocation platforms, Omgeo Central Trade Matching, Fix protocol
• Experience working with large data sets
• Self-motivated, high attention to details, and extremely organized

We Offer:

The Base Salary Range for this role is $95,000-$110,000. This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
