Job summary

Bellwether, a global advisory firm, seeks an Equity Associate to support the Asset Management team on office and retail assets through financial modeling, fund reporting, and equity underwriting. You will interact with internal and external decision makers and gain exposure to industry leaders.

You will monitor portfolios, develop asset‑level cash flow forecasts, mentor junior analysts, and underwrite deals using Excel, ARGUS, and related tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience in Asset Management, Development, or Acquisitions across office and retail asset classes preferred.
  • Client‑facing experience preferred.
  • Experience with property underwriting and advanced financial modeling.
  • Mastery in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ARGUS Enterprise.
  • For multi‑family roles, experience with Real Page and Yardi preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Overview

The Equity Associate will support Bellwether’s Asset Management team, working with office and retail assets through financial modeling, fund-level reporting, and underwriting of equity investments. The role involves regular communication with internal and external decision makers, providing exposure to industry leaders.

Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Local and/or nationwide travel to assets and client sites required on an as‑needed basis, approximately 1–2 times per month.
  • Regular duties include standing, sitting, walking, operating a computer workstation, and lifting/handling items. Physical and mental demands are representative of the essential functions of the position.
