Rhoda AI is building next-generation generalist robots and data collection systems. You will translate research needs into product requirements, prototype concepts, and lead cross-functional development with global partners to deliver reliable robot data solutions.
You will work closely with Research and Data teams, own hardware/software integration, and contribute to system validation and deployment across multiple sites, with regular travel to partner factories as needed.
At Rhoda AI, we’re building the next generation of generalist intelligent robots. We own the full robotics stack from high-performance hardware and robot systems to the infrastructure and state-of-the-art foundation world models that control our robots. Our robots are designed to be generalists capable of operating in complex, real-world environments and handling long-tail edge cases, made possible by our cutting edge research and end-to-end system design. We've raised over $450M and are investing aggressively in model research, infrastructure, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up to make generalist robotics a reality.
We are looking for an Engineering Product Manager to drive the development of our robot data collection systems.
You will translate research needs into product requirements, build and test prototypes, and work with internal teams and global engineering partners to drive system development, validation, and delivery.
Own product requirements for robot data collection systems.
Lead hands-on prototyping to define and validate new product concepts (e.g., grippers, sensor modules, end effectors), and feed the results back into product requirements.
Evaluate and benchmark key components such as cameras, motors, IMUs, and tactile sensors against system requirements.
Drive hardware and software development across sensing, calibration, synchronization, and system integration.
Track technical issues, validation, schedule, and delivery.
Work closely with Research and Data teams to quickly iterate system requirements.
Coordinate technical discussions with global engineering and manufacturing partners, including on-site support at partner factories as needed.
BS or MS in EE, ME, Mechatronics, Robotics, or related fields; recent and upcoming graduates (2025/2026) welcome.
Hands-on prototyping experience (e.g., CAD, 3D printing, PCB bring-up, embedded programming, lab instruments).
Strong technical learning ability and comfortable across hardware and software.
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
Comfortable joining occasional evening meetings with global partners and occasional domestic travel.
Experience from robotics competitions, research labs, or hardware internships is a plus.
